Kauhale Makai is a  moderate oceanfront resort located in Kihei.  This older condominium complex is surrounded by lush park-like grounds and its amenities include a pool, children's pool, jacuzzi, putting green, shuffleboard, ping pong, croquet, convenience store, BBQ, and central laundry facilities.

The property is consists of  2 six story buildings with 1 and 2 bedroom units.  The comfortable units have a lanai (patio), fully equipped kitchens with refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, central air conditioning, and color cable TV.

This quiet, family oriented complex is a good choice for travelers wanting inexpensive oceanfront accommodations.  Tennis, golf, dining and shopping are close by.
